That was a little of my weekend. What did you do? Any of you getting anxious for spring, like I am?
Back soon!

Ready for Spring! I saw the snowdrops have poked their heads up this weekend and yeah, rain over here too on the Island... we took part in the festivities in Chinatown as well - it was fun!
I've only been back in Vancouver for 4 1/2 months after ten years in Toronto so the "winter" that seems to be ending soon is amazing! Forgot what that's like.
Although can I say that I don't know if I"ll ever get used to the rain again?
enjoying the cold snap in england, there hasn't been much winter to move on from - i'm also hoping spring will wait a minute while i get round to thinking of my garden! the light there is different on a rainy day than it is here, somehow, it looks like i'm looking at my childhood. x
oh i'm so looking forward to spring... can't wait. but now it got pretty cold and wintery in germany {which is not nice at all}. did you try to make the tom kha soup? lovely photos expecially the first one {great light capture}, have a great week Janis, xo helene
anxious for winter, yes!!! BUT seeing that we have the most mild winter ever so far, i am sure it will not be anytime soon. looks like a great weekend!
oh your pictures are amazing...the dragon is fierce! Your planter is wonderful...wow makes me wanna run out & get mine done! looks like you are spring cleaning!
I love that you brought some green into and around your home this last, gloomy weekend... good for you!! Me? I made pillows! I'm pulling together a post about them that will go up some time tomorrow. I hope you'll drop by and check them out. I'm pretty happy with them! Victoria
My guy's been in Ireland this week and lots of sideways rain there! It actually rained here on night last week - can you believe it? And we've had a bit of a cold snap - only a high of about 16C - I had to dig out some socks! Love your green thumb weekend :)
I have the same wicker holder and used it for a candle as well. It finally had too much wear and fell apart this past year. :( So anxious for Spring and we finally started our planting indoors. xo

Yes, Spring can come, but I have yet so much to accomplish before that can happen, but I could easily slip away south for awhile...
Your weekend looked busy... Gotta love Chinese new Year celebrations. Lovely photos as always Janis.

i love the new text you are using on top of the images. Is this your handwriting each time or is it a font? adds great depth.
