To kickstart the week, I'm sharing the home of Shereen, Wilf and Silas. I shot their pretty home last summer, for Style At Home, and it's featured in the June issue. Designed with the help of Shereen's good friend, Nancy Riesco. Between the two of them, they've created a home full of personality. I've mentioned Shereen before, and her beautiful line of jewelry - click here for a refresher.
Silas hanging out with Leo, on the settee that Shereen found on Craigslist. Nancy had it reupholstered. Love that orange mirror.
Red and blue is a great combo.
Knowing this family, their home suits them perfectly. I love coming across that, as it doesn't happen all the time. If you'd like to see Shereen's home office, I posted pics a few weeks ago. Click here for a look.

Poo on the break in - is the restaurant in town? And even crazier about the passerby who helped themselves instead of calling for help!
At least it's sunny - a great start to the week.
I love how summary their home feels. Great shots, Janis! :)
I was enjoying this in my June issue. What a great house and what a ton of personality they put into it.
Is it my imagination or is S @ H changing a bit...for the better...a little less DYI looking, more mixed and diverse?
Sorry about your shop. With all the recent press and people caught on video during riots etc and getting charged after you would think they would realize that they are on video...Hello stupid man.
wow, sorry about the break in, what an enormous pain!! glad there wasnt massive damage though darl.
this home is sensational!! absolutely love the clean design and the colours are brilliant.
hope the week improves xxx

This place is beautiful, gorgeous pictures!
Sandra, the restaurant in in the Chinatown area. The "passerby" is especially amusing!
Will, it is a pretty summery home. They have a beautiful backyard and pool, as well. Sadly that wasn't part of the shoot.
Razmataz, it really was a nice home to hang out in. So comfortable, and welcoming. Love that. I think S@H has really changed up their look. So much better now!
Jules, it was a pain, but it's the first time it's happened to us, so we're pretty lucky. Jinx! Shouldn't have said that. ;) My fave bit of this house were the great colours too. So well put together.
thanks, Shannon. I'm off to check out yours now!
gaby, thanks so much!
Sorry to hear about the idiot breaking in. Glad you can see the humour in it!
Love the shots - those turquoise blue hues are so pretty and I love that orange mirror xo

Aw, so sorry to hear about your restaurant being broken into. Hope everything gets resolved quickly and without too much trouble.
On a higher note, I loved this home!!! It was one of my favourite interiors in the Style At Home issue. Just lovely Janis. Hope you have a fabulous week. Cheers!
Janis, I just wanted to say a big hello and thank you for visiting La Boheme. I am very excited to browse through your blog in the next couple of days as I've been already addicted to what I've seen! Much love to you and be back later this week...also, your portfolio is absolutely stunning! xoxo
What a bright and fresh home...love it! Hope that you got everything sorted out and managed to enjoy the sunshine despite the burglary! Great to see you on Sunday :)

That's too bad about the brick person - they'll get their own... On a much happier note, the photographs are just gorgeous of this lovely home - thanks for sharing!
Love Shereen! No surprise her home is absolutely gorgeous and inspired! Beautiful photographs.
I love the unfussy feel of this home..... the photos are lovely!
Wow, so pretty. Just discovered your blog today and spent some time looking over everything. Your pictures are just perfect - what a talent! So glad to find you.
Oh that's so crummy about the break in Janis, I'm so sorry! People don't realize what an inconvenience they create for others with little to no benefit to them!! Crazy.
On to the pretty, your photos of this home are amazing. I just adore every shot, and there are so many pieces to love in this place too, the secretary, that sofa! And truth be told I'm even more smitten with that dog!!
Nancy xo
So sorry to hear about that nasty Break in.
That home is really stunning, so simple, feels like home and you're right, it probaly suits them to the T.

I'm sorry about your restaurant! At least none of you were hurt.
And what a pretty home. I love that couch in the first photo, particularly.
Beautiful shots Janis!
