How's everyone doing? If you're into the Christmas thing, I hope you've wrapped up your shopping (literally), and are now just enjoying the season. I've got to get on to this part. ;)
I thought I'd share a fabulous Vancouver shop with you. I shot this place a couple of months ago for House and Home - it's in the current issue.
I love shops that sell great product, but that also have an interior that I could live in. Old Faithful is exactly that. It's full of reclaimed wood goodness. One of the owners, Walter, also makes a lot of what you see in terms of furniture. They're located in Gastown, in a heritage building. Beautiful. By the way, you can now shop online. Whoohoo!

This office chair is perfect! You may not think it looks too comfortable, but it is. Love the laptop pouch as well.

yup, one of my favourite vancouver shops. i was just in there the other day picking up a couple of things.

ReplyDeleteI agree- I could move right in! I've always wanted a big barn door on a track. Love the office chair and that it's on casters and I could find a million places for that grouping of white bottles. Awesome place! :)
ReplyDeleteOne of our favourites too J, wicked shop full of very cool stuff, especially love that book they have on Yosemite in the 60's. As ever your images look fantastic. Love the instore Cabin.

ReplyDeletei'm so pleased to see you writing about the old faithful! i adore it there. i've been wanting to talk about them more. one of those rulers came home with us. it is just the thing. their tag line is delightful, good quality goods. i love it. it seems like it rose up from the history of the old street, staunchly determined to stay out all the rest. x we have a similar thing over here, labour and wait. great stuff! xx
