Observations Through My SX-70

Hello Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. I worked for much of mine, but fit in some time to play around with my SX-70 and Impossible Project film...

It's fun to experiment with light, exposure and temperature with this film. It's different in every situation, and with every camera.

Hello Friday

Thanks so much for all the nice comments and emails about my Morocco and Paris posts. I have one more I'd like to share and it's all about Fes and the Middle Atlas mountain area. Still trying to digest that leg of the journey ;)

Turning Japanese

It's cherry blossom festival time, here in Vancouver. I love spring. This year spring started in February, just in time for the Winter Olympics. Oh well, the city is in bloom and it looks beautiful.

The Nitobe Memorial Garden is located at U.B.C., and each April  they hold an Ohanami (cherry blossom viewing). This year it takes place on April 10th. Click here for more details.  Last year, I took part in a traditional tea ceremony, as well.  It was really lovely to watch, and so quiet and gentle.
