Mystery solved. Last Friday, during my family Easter brunch, my friend Sarah secretly dropped off a bunch of beautiful flowers for us. She was on her way out-of-town with Arvi, and decided to just give us some flowers. So incredibly sweet, but that's Sarah. My niece, the bunny , thought they must have come from my secret admirer. Ahh, to be 6 years old again.
Naturally, I had to photograph them a bazillion times, right up until they were pretty much finished. I thought they still looked beautiful even with shriveled petals.
Do you have a friend like Sarah? Someone that just does incredibly nice things all the time? I'd love to hear about them ;)

I am in love with this post! Your pictues of the ranunculus bunch are gorgeous! I try to be that sweet friend like your Sarah. Every once in a while I pick up an extra bunch of flowers and drop them off to a neighbor, or pick up cookies and drop them at my hubby's office for the ladies...little random acts of kindness and happiness!! ;)
Oh, I feel the same way about these flowers. I photographed mine until they were faded, and they still looked gorgeous.
What a wonderful friend you have, Janis! I have a couple of friends like this, too, and I often wonder what I've done to deserve them. They are a blessing.
You photos are so delicate--the colors are swoon-worthy! xo
Ranunculus are some of my favourite flowers!
I do have several friends that do nice things all the time. One in particular has made the birthday cakes for the last two birthday boys in my house... just because she knows it's really hard for me to keep up sometimes. It's something little, but the time and care she takes to bake a cake for my boys has touched my heart more than words describe. A good friend is a wonderful thing indeed! xo Erica
Yes we all have a Sarah, I wish I could be a Sarah but I can't because I wasn't born that way!! I love poppies so much your photos are divine. xoxo
Gorgeous flowers! My apartment could definitely use some of those right about now. After the 25 degree weather last week it is now snowing here in Milwaukee!

That IS a sweet friend. Mine sent my a bouquet of my favorite flowers for my birthday, which was a complete surprise as she timed it just right after I had been out of town a few days.
Lovely, lovely photos, too. I love that second one, looking down into the center.
Really really lovely photographs, you should sell your pics on Etsy, if you don't already :) Bon weekend!

That is such a kind gesture of your friend! <3
And your niece with the admirer comment, so cute!
To be honest, I do not have friends like that, because in real ife I do not let people come too close to me.
And those very few that which are a little more than acquaintances, would never send me flowers. :) Because they know how much I dislike the thought, that flowers have to be cut so I can enjoy them in a vase at home. :D
Btw, thank you for answering my question a few days ago!!
Wow! Beautiful, beautiful pics! Very "springy" :) XXX
