Not quite Rockefeller, but we did have Elvis

Elvis Costello that is. Elvis and his wife, Diana Krall, were the special guests at the Amacon Christmas tree lighting celebration at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Unfortunately, their mission was only to push the big red button, to switch on the lights, not to do a festive duet. In just it's 3rd year, it doesn't quite have the panache, or the countless superstars, that Rockefeller has, but it's a start.

Now, back to Elvis. I adore Elvis Costello, and have grown to be o.k with his wife, Nanaimo BC native, Diana Krall. She did look pretty last night. I was only about 12 feet away from them, so I took lots of pics. Please allow me to show you a number of them!

To Mise of Pretty Far West: Since I was in a sparkly mood after the tree lighting (and Elvis), I decided to go by a couple of the houses, from my last post, to show you what they look like all lit up. Enjoy! I think I prefer them in the light of day, all exposed and self conscious.

What's So Funny About Peace, Love and Understanding

Elvis still has it. Saw him play last night, at Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park. Beautiful venue, fantastic show! Check out the review - Elvis Costello and The Sugarcanes a summer highlight.

I've been working on a series of images that I'm quite excited about. They'll be for sale on Etsy starting tomorrow (August 26th). Been a fan of Etsy for ages, but this is the first time I'll be selling my wares.

Off to a shoot, so I must fly. Until tomorrow I've attached some pics of Vancouver that I shot recently. This city is truly beautiful.

Have a great day!
