Here's a bit of my weekend....
While eating some of that chocolate, I watched this short film about the writer of this book, John Roderick an AP journalist, and his beautiful farmhouse. If you have 15 minutes, you should watch it. I loved it. Thanks to Walter, at Old Faithful, for telling me about it.

What did you get up to this weekend? Have a great day! Back soon.

I love the cushion! Beautiful fabric.
And I want to snoop through your stack of mags...
Am not impressed with the blast of snow this morning. Snow on ski hill = good, snow in the city = not pleased!
I think that I must zoom out for some coffee to recover...
That picture is beautiful...like Spring ready to burst.
I went to an Irish pub...somehow I always feel like I am at a frat house on St. Paddy's day 30 years past the best before date.....what is it with 50 year old men and those hats and T-shirts. Now the Irish pipers in the kilts...they were worth it.
Chocolate, a great coffee table book and spring air....I can't think of a better weekend Janis. xo
I absolutely need to get that book. So lovely! I need to watch the rest of the video when I get home (he's so adorable!).
Any idea where in Japan this home is?
Not surprised as that spring shot it gorgeous! :)

I love you photos! Simply wohttp://fromfreyawithlove.blogspot.com/nderful!
I love those pillows, such an awesome punch of colour. Our weekend consisted of renos, design and some family time playing soccer. Oh and got a bit of rock climbing in too!
now how do you make a stack of magazines look so clean and uncluttered...I will have to rethink mine!
lovely photos.
serrano pepper chocolate sounds pretty amazing!
And I love that print too... happy spring!!

Great photos! I saw a similar chair at my local Sally Ann a couple weeks ago...I'm still kicking myself for not buying it...all because it had a little broken spot. Something a pretty pillow made of vintage fabric would have easily covered up.
loving that cushion and chair combo ... just beautiful !! le xox
That was a beautiful film. I'm crying of course. Thank you for sharing it, Janis. I will look for Mr. Roderick's book.
Liza, I cried too. I've watched it a few times. It's so beautiful and the book is as well.
