BC Home + Garden Show Give-Away

Happy Monday! If you're in BC, I hope you're enjoying your "Family Day" holiday Monday.

For anyone living in the Vancouver area, or planning to be, I've got two pairs of tickets up for grabs, courtesy of the BC Home + Garden show. It takes place February 19th - 23rd, and it's shaping up to be a great event. Really looking forward to seeing some of the celebrity guests including,  Janette Ewen, Jennifer Scott and Jef Hancock to name a few.

To get into the home decor mood, I thought I'd share some images from a shoot I did with David Keeler, of Provide Home, for the March issue of Style At Home. David decorated this city townhouse for a family of three and helped create a modern, calm and inviting space.

Festive Friday

I'm happy to see so many of you taking part in my give away. Merci! I'll be making the draw sometime on Monday....once I finish my baking of course.

I shared some of Nancy Riesco's home with you last week, so I thought I'd show you some more from that Christmas shoot for Chatelaine magazine.

Do you decorate your kid's rooms? I used to love my tinsel tree, as a kid, so I was happy to see one Nancy's son's room. 

 Pink and peppy for Gemma's room. Her duvet set is pretty adorable.

The family room was so inviting. Maureen Willick created a simple and pretty garland for the window. Love all the orange!

More pinks in the living room. I would love to be sitting on that chair, whilst posting.

Sweet Comfort....and a little give-away

I seem to get quite excited when I find something that is just, well, comfortable. Like the pillows at Ace Hotel in NY. Nighty night.

I recently picked up a pair of Urbanears, from Walrus, and they're making my hours of post production work sail right on by. The sound is great, and they feel perfect sitting on my ears. Have any of you tried them out yet? I can't wait to use them on the next looooong flight to Australia.

Next bit of comfort are these Toms. I know they've been around awhile, but I only just jumped on the bandwagon. Holy comfort. I never want to take them off. I love their company policy as well: You buy a pair of their shoes, they give a pair of shoes to a child in need. Enough said.

Back to my day of post production, with happy ears. Ahhh.
