Sunday Observations

Had a pretty quiet day today.....and it was so needed. Hope you had a lovely, relaxing Sunday too.

This is what I got up to....

Early morning tree search? So fun! I love going to get the Christmas tree... the smell is sooo good.

those lights are so great! we're just getting started here too, somehow a bit slow this year. perhaps the lack of snow. i think we'll go an dig up a tree later on in the week! we went to a village concert in the great, stunning church, what amazing singers, beautiful carols. and made some friends. then back to the cottage for homemade chicken noodle soup, and a movie. 'beginners' - we loved it. x!

that is perfect the lights around the little bottles with tree fern. so pretty. Melb is one day 18 degrees the next 29 degree...so a bit fresh and then a bit balmy. Enjoy Dec x

What I would give for a real tree, well any tree actually not a decoration in sight at my place as yet!!!
My petite Paris apartment would actually be consumed by a real tree so will have to keep dreaming..

looks like a perfect pre-christmas sunday. i hope you did find the perfect tree. those christmas lights are just perfect. where did you get them? they look so perfectly delicate.
