I found myself, last minute, in Seattle late Monday night into the very wee hours of Tuesday. We saw Prince play at a nightclub, after his arena show. Wow and wow. Absolutely amazing. I was 5 feet away from that magical man. The show wrapped up at 4am and on the way home (2.5 hours away), we saw this spectacular display of yarn bombing. They looked beautiful in the dark with no one around.
I feel like knitting our tiny tree, in our back yard, a Christmas sweater now ;)
Back soon!
Janis

It's beautiful!! What a treat for you :) Glad you were there to capture it to show all of us. Merry Christmas!!
I'm sooooooo jealous - would've loved to have seen the Purple One in a small venue!!! The Yarn Bombing is super cool!
Magical, especially that 1st pic. Merry Christmas to you Janis :)
I've never heard of yarn bombing but I loving it!! And I love me some Prince!!
Oh so awesome for you, Prince up close!!! I went to a Seahawks game in the fall and the lamp posts around the stadium were yarn bombed in the team colours. (I didn't know it was called yarn bombing though...cool.)
Merry Christmas!
I need some yarn bombing around here! I love it!!
I would love to see Prince...I think he has such charisma in a weird and celebrity way, My friend works for Air Canada and they are told not to make eye contact with him when he flies AC. He doesn;t like it....And a smaller venue too WOW..Santa delivered.
Is yarn bombing a knitted vest for the tree or is it wound around the tree?
so glad you guys had fun!!!
those trees look amazing. it reminds my of something from dr. seuss......
i heard about the knitted trees before and would have loved to see them myself, but i'm glad you shared ;-) such a great idea. so, if you are knitting a sweater for your own little tree, you know that you have to show us some pics of that, right!?! have a great today
just a great piece of urban art :) I am giving my darling girl your cards tomorrow - they look very sweet all tinseled up :) best for a festive day on the 25 le xox
Oh good!!! I'm heading down there soon and maybe I'll catch a glimpse. :) Have a wonderful Christmas weekend Janice!
Prince! - Can’t stop thinking about that show. That was such an incredible fun night! I love the photos of the trees in socks– wouldn’t mind one for a frame (hint, hint)! Xo
Prince? That would of been a fabulous show! Love those trees! What a fun idea!
I cannot believe how cool it'd be to watch Prince perform such a small setting? I'd be in heaven. I absolutely love the trees wrapped in yarn. I bet those trunks felt very sun?. I would of loved seeing them. My youngest daughter & I were hitting up downtown Seattle last night and all it's glory!
Merry Christmas to you and wishing you all that's Merry & Bright for the holidays.
Cheers ~ Deb
