Weekend Mode

It's Victoria Day in Canada, so the weekend is still on. Love holiday Mondays. Happy Birthday Queen Victoria!

My niece is currently sitting beside me, working on her writing project, asking me about Terry Fox and how to spell "institute". I hope I've spelled it correctly ;)

This is a bit of what's gone on this weekend....

By the way, I don't believe in ironing pillow cases.  Way too much work.

Frames found at Stepback. My husband painted the woman enjoying a mai tai. Not sure if it was a mai tai, but I like to think it was.

What did you get up to this weekend? Still enjoying the weekend?

Have a good day! Back soon.
Janis

Looks like a great weekend that was also productive! I spent a lot of time outside which was amazing soaking up fresh air and sun.

Happy Victoria day to you.

So adore the lantern in the powder room... and it fits the theme of that print.

I would never iron pillow cases either. Why? -They're going to get rumpled anyway. :D

my pillowcases always look better after they're slept on, somehow. no need to iron, just squash overnight. that yellow may be different, but i suspect it is the same as i used for a handbag i made once, like pale sunshine. happy victoria day! will be coming to you live, soon x

Looks like you used your extra day well. Wish I could say the same...today I allowed myself to be lazy. ;) Love the lantern, Chinatown photo and your hubs painting. Curious about the "smash"...

what a fun weekend for you! I enjoyed every moment; gardening and hanging out with friends. I have been working from home the past week, so I feel as if on holiday even though I am working. Just working in my comfy clothes!!

I also think your bedroom is super lovely. Those new frames work so nice hung over the bed. xo
I hung out with my nephew, finished up a book I was reading, went for lots of walks and tested out instagram for the first time. Yay!

This past weekend I enjoyed the last few days with visitors, my aunt and uncle from Calgary. Weather was nice and we had lots of fun as we showed them around the Frankfurt area.
