Did a little shopping here...
You can check out Room 6 here. You can shop online too ;)
and I completely jumped off my healthier eating wagon for this.....
This little drive was a nice break from working on my taxes. Sob. What did you get up to this weekend?
Have a lovely day! Back soon.

hmmmmm...yummy & what a great picture of the guard stand in Deep Cove...Thanks for sharing!
p.s. we went to the u.s.a. and got a beautiful mirror!
Sounds like a wonderful weekend that I would TOTALLY love to copy!! That shop looks amazing!
Ooh...sounds the perfect break from work and ugh...taxes! I also pulled myself away from work and skipped the city in favour of visiting my parents, sister, bro-law and nephew outside of Winnipeg. Totally delightful!
I love Deep Cover... have been there many times for kayaking, hiking, visiting friends, etc. Can't believe that I didn't know that store was there!!! Something to check out next time. ;)
I love it when the clouds roll in low... beautiful!
janis. thank you, i was feeling homesick and here you are photographing my home! gorgeous images. x

Oh boy! I adore all the images... especially the mugs at Room 6! *swoons*
P.S.: If a Doughnut looks as yummy as that, you HAVE to make an exception.

Looks like a perfect weekend! I need to get myself out there at some point, I've never been to Deep Cove!
i drove back from the beach : (
i shouldnt complain, i live a short drive/15 min walk from the beach, but its not the same as being in the country.
but darl, i think doing the taxes would be worse - hope you put them aside for the whole weekend!
and i hope you had a lovely christmas/new year too darl xxxx
I love mini road trips! Your pics are awesome and how delicious was that donut? :)
I was once devastated when I arrived at Honeys doughnuts and they were all out... But it turned out to be the best thing as they cooked a fresh batch, and they are absolutely best when piping hot, crispy on the ousdie and gooey and doughy in the centre! mmmmm, just thinking about it... plain honey suits me just fine. A visit to Room 6 and a walk in the woods are also essential parts of my Deep Cove visits.
it's been ages since i've been on your blog and i've missed so much! your photos seem more beautiful than ever - i love christmas and the warmth that you've captured for the season. ug. i'm dying to get to deep cove - i need those mugs.
your photography is stunning! so happy you had such a lovely weekend! i need to plan a vancouver trip asap.
