Do you have a craft room?

If you do, I'm not sure that we can be friends. I'd be too envious that you had that much space that you could devote an entire room to crafts and gift wrapping.

I'm in the middle of ripping apart my our office so I can actually work in it, and I have nowhere to put anything let alone a little row of porcelain holders for my pencil crayons and scissors. Mise, do you have this? Heather, what about you? I think "our" office is mine, but my husband keeps adding stuff to it. Nerve. Oh well...it'll get sorted out, and I will share the before and after with you.

In the meantime, this happy yellow room (that is not my office, unfortunately) is just simply for creating magical little crafts and wrapping the perfect present. What the what? I just use the dining table, as that's the only space available. I shot this house for House and Home with Kate Keeler and Kelly Deck , who designed this room. It is quite cute, I'll give it that. Kelly, can you come and help me?

Ok. There are way worse troubles at sea , but it's hot and my office is a disaster. ;)

I hope you all have a lovely, organized, clutter free day!

Ms. Fraulein Klein, unfortunately this is not my office...it's someones craft room. I wish my office was this put together and organized!

Technically, my office here in the house should double as my craft room. But I tend to spread out all over the place. To have a dedicated craft room like this one would be heaven, wouldn't it? But I rather doubt mine would remain this uncluttered for long.

Hve fun creating some space. I'm one of the fortunate ones that has a bedroom as a craft room but it still doesn't stop me from spreading into other parts of the house. :0)

I love this room.

Since moving to our new house I do have a space for a small craft/studio room away from what is my office/paperwork area. I am trying very hard to get it organized with a place for everything. So far everything is still in boxes as I try to attach shelving and find ways to keep things hidden but accessible :(

Yes, wouldn't it be lovely to have a hobby room?!

Oh, our poor little craft room/art room.... in our small apartment there is actually a small extra room that we "use" for painting, sewing, etc. However it has been swallowed whole by Etsy listings, fabric I never use, papers, you name it. Thank goodness it has a door. Actually, this is good inspiration to get it back in order and in use!!

ok, please don't hate me! but I used that yellow room pic you posted as my inspiration for my studio! So, it's not JUST a craft room, but my space where I create my bags (so that doesn't count, right?). Instead of the white desk, I put a big white IKEA island and instead of the wall of shelf units, I put a wall of white IKEA dressers to hold all my fabrics and notions. One dresser also holds office supplies and some of my portfolio stuff and the closet holds stuff like printer/shredder, etc. so, can we still be friends? ; )

I don't have a craft-room, so we're still friends, Janis. What a relief! I do have a home office, where I earn the boring money and which keeps descending into technology as it's sometimes shared with a gadget-loving husband. I wish it were white and pink and orderly, but no. Peripheral technology (wires etc) tends to be ugly. I just have to try harder to declutter, prettify and frown at guitar accoutrements.

Please do your office/craft-room makeover as soon as possible to put me to shame and gear me into action!

I LOVE the idea of craftrooms, but I don't have a crafty skill.... maybe my office counts? Although I wish I had a prettier and more inspiring writing retreat! :)

we have a craft room but it looks nothing like the snazzy photos you've posted! not sure how long fancy yellow wallpaper would last with two little boys...

I always dream of craft rooms. Except for me it would be more like a party supply room. So far I have a party supply box on our balcony.
