Friday in the country

I headed out to the country today to hang out with my friend Heather, of Missing Goat. It was her official opening! After months of hard work, she opened the door to her "shack" filled with fabulous, jams, chutneys and garlic. Yum. Naturally, Lily, Heather's daughter, was in her blueberry glory. Speaking of blueberries, they won't be ready for another couple of weeks. If you're in the Metro Vancouver area, I highly recommend a trip to Missing Goat!

By the way, congratulations to all the winners of the big giveaway at Flourish Design + Style! The winner of one of my prints is Shannon of whatsupwhimsy.com - she chose "Pink" (below).

I think I need to have a g + t and give myself a bit of a pedicure. My feet are definitely not summer ready.

Enjoy your weekend! See you Monday.

You really are the best friend. My shack was cute today, and then made all the better by your lovely images on my walls. Now, I need all these prints too please 8x10 - oh, can you grab the frames too - just rent a car again. I'm teasing. You're so very swell in my books!!

Your photography is always so beautiful. Heather's blueberry farm would be a place I would love to visit. There use to be one in my home town outside of Seattle where we'd work in the summers. Blueberry's just say summer and by the look of Lily's adorable face she loves them much too. ( :

What a great website Missing Goat has too. Have a fun pedi and enjoy a G&T for me. Sounds like the perfect lazy summer experience.
Cheers ~ deb
