Weekend Observations

I hope you had a great weekend! What did you get up to?

Most of my "observations" for this weekend involved invoices, bank statements and receipts. In Canada, today is the deadline to get your tax statement in for 2011. Yikes. Nothing like the last minute. My apologies to my accountant. I promise to do better next year. Seriously.

In between ripping apart my office, searching for receipts, I also observed a little prettiness....

Cathy Terepocki ceramics are sold at Walrus.

That's it for today!

I picked up my taxes, hubby and my mothers all on friday and we all owed. I now keep 12 files in an accordian folder on my desk and just plot receipts in according to month when I empty my bag, purse etc. New book keeper this year who was very confused that I bought 10 sofas. She kept calling and asking me if things were personal purchases. Anyway done for this year...

Hope you got money back.

Such pretty photos! I spent the weekend cleaning and getting back to life after have a week of visitors from all over the country (my family came to visit me from Oregon and England). I'm glad to be back to normal! Except it's not all normal! I found out Friday that my boyfriend and I are being relocated to Toronto!

We spent our anniversary weekend in Naramata. It was fun and relaxing, eating and drinking and soaking up the sun. Good luck with your taxes.
