Rainy Weekends

Really, I think we can turn the switch on to "summer" now, can't we? Oh well, we're used to rain here on the west coast of Canada, so you can always float some paper boats in puddles.....

and drink lots of this......

or this (especially great if you can have someone draw a face on top)....

This coffee was made at Lakhoum in Richmond, Victoria Australia. Not sure if it's still the same owners. The coffee was perfect, not just cute!

I plan to catch up on some of my favourite blogs, work on a few craft projects, and go for walks in the rain. I'm kind of happy it's raining. What will you do this weekend?

Have a lovely weekend everyone. To all of you that live in the U.S., have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend. See you Monday for Baked on Monday 7!

i'm off to whitehorse this weekend, kinda scared. so instead of packing i am procrastinating by going on my favourite blogs- like yours!
xox happy weekends.
btw- have you ever done a best of B.C. post? i'd love to read it as we are coming to b.c this summer and i want to know where the best of the best is.

I think the rain is why there are so many great artists on the west coast. It's easier to work when the sun is resting. Love that cup of coffee.

sounds like a lovely weekend - minus the rain, when you're ready for summer. chilly but fine here, hoping to get some painting done. would rather be having that coffee somewhere though!

hope you have a great one, jxx

I have tried your tea cakes recipe from last week. Delicious! and your orange chocolate chip cookie recipe which have become a favourite with my family and my daughters work colleagues to whom she brought a batch.

Thanks for sharing such tried and tested recipes.

My holiday weekend consists of Sunday and Monday. But the sun is shining this morning, I've been slow roasting pork shoulder overnight and the house smells like heaven and now the garden beckons.

You enjoy the weekend also, rainy or not, it's downtime!

Lucky for us we have lots of sunshine, just hiding out right now while my kids are outside playing. Plan on getting outdoors for the remainder of the weekend, enjoy your walks!
