Happy 1st day of May! I picked up the phrase above from my mom-in-law, Norma. Thought I should funktify (new word) it with some Japanese paper.
The start of May here in Vancouver, is sunny. Isn't that supposed to mean summer is right around the corner? Hope so.
Hope you all have a lovely and lazy weekend!
See you Monday for a new recipe. Hint: it contains a mix of chocolate and orange. Mmmm.

P.S.: About the seafood, no seafood for me either. :) Only non-living food.
HI Janis
Happy May Day... well that is a common phrase here.. one we all took to extremes as kids.. haha... I hope you have a lovely May Day and weekend.. xx Julie
When someone said that when I was a kid (i.e. got in first with the punching bit!) we'd say back
"a hit and a kick for being so quick"! Not nice...but effective :) Look forward to the choc and orange combination.
happy sunday to you!!here in florence is raining but yesterday was a sunny day!
Happy first may for you and a lot of "bonheur"...
It's so grey at home... Bouh... It would be better tomorrow, I hope !
Have a good sunday !
Have never heard of that expression before! It's too cute not to share! Off to playfully punch my husband! :)

Great quote!! Hope you are enjoying the weekend
So much for summer...let's get the parkas back out of storage. Looks like we're going to get a November wind storm in the morning. Hilarious!
