Shopping Around

I've been a bit lax with my blogging this week. Busy shooting days have left my eyes falling out of my head. I hope to make up for it, next week!

I had a shoot in Gastown today, so afterwards I did a little shop around. Orling and Wu opened earlier this year, and I actually shot them for House and Home magazine this past summer. Thought I'd share some of those images with you, plus some new items they're carrying.

They carry several items from Fog Linen (3 images above). Love this line.

New from Jonathan Adler: Needlepoint paper weights, and cushions.

Love these stools and light fixtures.

My obsession with paper continues. Anytime I see a note book made out of "rescued" paper, I buy it.
I love making my own as well. Click here for a little how-to I posted at Poppytalk.

That's all for now! Have a great weekend, and happy halloween!

This all looks perfect! I really really like the notebook. That is my weakness for sure! I too grab up whatever I can when it comes to new "books of paper" to write away in. Sometimes I just let them sit on my nightstand...waiting to be filled.....
Have a wonderful weekend!

So much great inforation Janis!!!!
I am clicking away and discoving a lot of new things... I am loving fog linen... i am originally from the basque country and we have had traditionally our own linen too, but nowadays is quite expensive. Living in England for the last 10 years...I have seeing more of the same. But somehow, in Japan, i always manage to find some lovely fabrics at more reasonable prices... This website is most interesting!!!Thnx for the tip.

I love the pictures on your how-to for making the notebook. You can make anything look like art Janis -even the tools required to make the books! I hope you have a relaxing weekend after such a big week.

Rescued paper? The infinitely educational Internet continues to expand my horizons. Is it like recycled paper, or different? And yes, the lure of a lovely thick clean sheet of paper is boundless.

Mise, I do believe "rescued" is the same as "recycled". ;)
Linda, I'm definitely going to check out your shop!
Julie, happy to hear you liked the Poppytalk post. Those books are fun, and pretty easy, to do.
THanks again for all your comments, all. They really do brighten my day!

Lovely images - my daughter of 10 has a notebook obsession - stacks of them in her bedroom - it's quite sweet really - always has one on hand for making little notes and drawings - guess I can't be too upset by that.
Fog Linen and Jonathan Adler pieces are great.
