I wanted to share one of my favourite stores with you all, The Regional Assembly of Text. It's located here in Vancouver, but you can shop online as well.
Rebecca Dolen and Brandy Fedoruk are the owners of this happy little shop and they make a very creative duo. You will find a fabulous selection of screen printed wrapping paper, T-shirts, greeting cards, wooden storage boxes and you can even create your own buttons (see above). If you're in the area, you have to check it out.
I love the old lockers and typewriters (not for sale).
You can type out your own letter on a variety of papers, tags and envelopes.
These quilted letter squares are perfect for a baby shower or a kid's room. Wooden boxes (bottom right), in two sizes, are great for storing jewelry, a small sewing kit, or pencils.
A great idea - the "one button a month" club. Love it.
A wall of wrapping paper, ribbons and typewriters.
The back room, where they create some of their fabulous designs.
I've loaded this little box up with candles and along with the vintage tumblers/candle holders, and box of wax matches, it'll make a sweet house warming gift.
I heart the Regional Assembly of Text.

and that is a super sweet housewarming gift!
This just makes me sigh wistfully. Here in Lille there is a distinct lack of one - off stylish, arty, kinda out there shops. Divine...
This sweet little shop is in my fave neighbourhood of Vancouver too. Lots of great shops and restaurants in the area. It's Main Stree - they may be calling the area "SOMA" these days (south of main. something like that.)
thanks for all the lovely comments everyone!
MUST GO SEE THIS as a side trip next time I'm up in Seattle. What a great little shop!
Love your blog and photos are gorgeous!
LOVE the house warming gift, such a good idea, so sweet ! xx

What a happy surprise to have come here via Razmataz to see you're also in BYW. This shop looks wonderful. I especially like the typewriter set up so people can write a letter. Funny, but I'm getting ready to post a shop tour that looks very similar to this one, but it's in Los Angeles.
Oooh! How do I livein Vancouver and not know about this place? Thank you for sharing! The typewriter is darling :)
